Privacy Policy — SteadyPress

SteadyPress (“the App”) is a shooting-practice application. Dry fire uses the camera and microphone on-device for trigger-process feedback. Live fire uses the microphone (and optional watch) as a shot timer only — no camera, no hit scoring.

Information We Process

Camera frames (dry fire only) are processed on-device for pose estimation. Frames are not uploaded. Live fire does not use the camera.
Microphone audio is processed on-device to time dry-fire clicks or live-fire reports. Audio is not permanently recorded or uploaded.
Account (optional): Sign in with Google (Android), Sign in with Apple (iOS), or email. The App stores an identifier, email, and display name from that sign-in. Training works without an account.
Purchases: Premium status via App Store / Google Play Billing. Practice (timer) is free; the coach is a paid subscription or lifetime unlock.
Local history: session scores and labels on your device.
Account sync (optional): a small JSON of scores, timer strings, and personal bests in your iCloud private database or Google Drive app-data folder. No video, audio, or pose clips. Off in Settings. Uninstall does not delete the cloud snapshot; delete it from iCloud / Google account storage.

Data Collection Mode (optional)

If you enable Settings → Collect Training Data, the App may save pose landmark coordinates, click timing, and labels you choose. Not video or audio files. Stored only on-device; excluded from cloud backup; never uploaded unless you explicitly export.

Shot timing and (dry fire) on-device form feedback.
Premium subscription / lifetime unlock.
Optional on-device personalization of feedback baselines.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Third parties only when you use their services: Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In (including Google Drive app-data if you turn on training save), App Store, and Google Play Billing.

Permissions

Camera — dry-fire pose / finger analysis. Not used in live fire.
Microphone — click or shot timing on-device.
Internet — optional sign-in, billing, optional account snapshot, watch companion. Core training works offline after install. No advertising ID.

Safety

Dry fire: unloaded firearm only. Live fire: timer only; phone off the line; never downrange. Users are solely responsible for safe firearm handling. The App does not replace a range officer or professional instruction.
